Q4

In this blog post you'll learn:

• How to build hype effectively.
• How to improve cashflow during Q4.
• How to use scarcity to increase sales.

=============================

We're very quickly heading towards Q4 which will typically be your busiest time in the home fragrance industry.

So, you want to capitalise on this to make sure you can make as many sales as humanly possible.

There will be certain things you launch during this time, whether that's your Christmas collection, an advent calendar or personalised gifts.

Whatever it is, you want to build as much hype around it as you possibly can. These are my recommendations which have worked very well for us in the past:

Create a Facebook Event

Invite all of your audience to it and post updates within the Facebook event to build interest.

When people are a part of a Facebook event they will see your notifications and posts much more than they would if it was posted on your Facebook page.

This also gives you an idea of how many people are interested.

Put things on pre-order

Especially expensive things such as an advent calendar.

Get people to buy their advents before you even start making them and let them know when they can expect delivery.

This helps to manage cashflow and ensure you don't under/over-sell.

Countdown with behind the scents content

Each day of the week leading up to your launch, post on social media and highlight a new scent which you'll be launching.

Show your audience behind the scenes of you making the products.

This all helps to build anticipation, excitement and the desire to buy.

Use scarcity

This is where you let people know exactly how many you have available to sell, and you let them know how many is left in stock.

This encourages people to place an order now to avoid missing out.

Scarcity is probably the most powerful tool in your arsenal for getting sales. You don't want to overdo it and use this tactic all the time because it will slowly start to lose its impact.

But a couple of times over the festive period will work wonders.

Over to you

I really hope you have a very healthy Q4. If you have any questions or would like further advice on how to maximise your results during this period, please email me, I'll gladly assist.

Good luck!
