=============================

Undoubtedly, without Facebook, none of my businesses would be where they are today.

It has been a crucial tool to help us build our audiences and create a loyal base of returning customers.

Facebook accounts for 55% of all sales we receive through our business through ads and organic posts.

Turning Facebook into a powerful marketing tool for your business requires time and money to help with advertising.

As the years have passed, it's certainly much more challenging to reach people organically. Facebook has made it so that you need to spend money on their platform to reach new audiences effectively.

Here are my top tips on how to use Facebook to grow your business.

Business Pages

Creating a Facebook business page is a cost-effective way to expand your brand's reach, connect with a vast audience, and advertise your products or services.

It also provides valuable analytics and insights, helping you better understand your audience and refine your marketing strategies for optimal results.

When setting up your Facebook page, you must:

  1. Provide a compelling description: Use the About section of your Facebook business page to provide a concise and engaging description of your business. Communicate what your company does and highlight its unique selling points.
  2. Add a profile photo and cover photo: Select professional and visually appealing images for your profile and cover photos. Your profile photo should usually be your company logo, while the cover photo can showcase products, services, or your brand's personality.
  3. Complete your business information: Fill out all the essential details in the "Page Info" section. Include your business's contact information, website address, business hours, and any other relevant information that can help customers find and connect with you.
  4. Start posting relevant content: Begin sharing regular, engaging, and informative content that aligns with your brand and engages your target audience. Stay consistent and aim to provide value to your followers. Experiment with different content formats, such as images, videos, articles, and polls, to keep your page exciting and interactive.

Facebook Events

Utilising Facebook Events can be a powerful strategy to promote and coordinate online or in-person gatherings. Creating and promoting events on Facebook can reach a wider audience and generate buzz.

In our business, Cosy Aromas, we use Facebook Events to build hype and anticipation for our Black Friday Sales event.

It's also convenient for providing a visual representation of the number of people who want to participate in the event.

How to set up your first Facebook Event:

  1. Log in to your Facebook account and navigate to your homepage.
  2. On the left sidebar, click "Events" to access the Events page.
  3. Click on the "Create Event" button at the page's top right corner.
  4. Fill in the event details, including the event name, date, time, location, and description.
  5. Choose the event privacy setting - either Public, Private, or Friends.
  6. Anyone can see public events, while Private events require an invitation for access.
  7. You can customise your event by adding a cover photo, selecting event category tags, and providing additional event information.
  8. When you're done, click the "Create" button to create your event.

Now, you must share this event on your social media platforms and via email to get people to join it.

Facebook Groups

Creating a Facebook group for your business can be highly beneficial in generating sales.

Facebook groups provide a community-like environment where you can engage directly with your customers, build relationships, and establish brand loyalty.

By fostering a sense of community, you can gain valuable insights into your customers' needs and preferences, allowing you to tailor your products or services more effectively.

Additionally, you can use the group to share exclusive offers, promotions, and updates, creating a sense of exclusivity and urgency that can drive sales.

Moreover, with the ability to tag products in group posts, you can showcase your offerings directly to your engaged audience, making it easier for them to make purchase decisions.

Overall, Facebook groups offer a powerful platform for connecting with your target audience, building trust, and boosting sales for your business.

At Cosy Aromas, our Facebook Group has over 9,000 members. This is small compared to our entire customer database, BUT these are 9,000 of our most loyal and engaged customers.

Our Facebook Group is one of our most valuable tools for generating customer loyalty and repeat orders.

Facebook Ads

This is how you will grow your business. Facebook Ads are still incredibly powerful. There's a lot more competition and challenges than in the past, but get it right, and you will build a very successful business.

Here's how to create your first Facebook ad:

  1. First, log in to your Facebook account and navigate to Ads Manager by clicking the arrow on the top-right corner of the screen and selecting "Ads Manager" from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click the "Create" button from there to set up a new ad campaign.
  3. Choose your marketing objective to help Facebook understand what you're trying to achieve through your ad campaign.
  4. Set up your audience targeting using Facebook's robust targeting capabilities to reach the right people at the right time.
  5. Decide on your ad placement, choosing where your ads will be displayed across Facebook's family of apps and services.
  6. Craft your ad creative, utilising compelling visuals and messaging to capture your audience's attention and prompt them to take action.
  7. Lastly, set your budget and ad schedule and review everything to ensure it looks good before submitting your campaign for review.

Remember that these are just basic steps to targeting with Facebook ads. To build a successful campaign, you'll need to continue to monitor and optimise over time.

That's it; I hope you have found this helpful.
